Getting it Write: a Multi-skills Approach to Writing
Date: 2.5.20
Time: 2:00pm-5:00pm
Description: From beginning students working on basic functional tasks to intermediate and advanced students aiming for the next educational or professional horizon, writing is an essential skill. While teachers often think of speaking- focused activities as fun and collaborative, writing tasks are often seen as dry and less engaging and often are avoided. How do we plan writing activities that pop? Attendees to this workshop will learn how to plan collaborative writing-focused activities that include getting learners up and talking as they develop the compositional skills they need to achieve their goals.
